Wireless Infrastructure mmWave

5G mmWave uses very wide-bandwidth signals, which can provide much higher throughput than mid-band and low-band signals. While this is a significant advantage for mmWave applications, its drawbacks are limited range and line of site requirements. However, in modern mmWave deployments, these drawbacks are understood and mitigated by the use of optimized active antennas, good system designs, and high performing Beamforming ICs (BFICs) and Up/Down Converters (UDCs).
iCana’s mmWave solution addresses this need with high-performing BFICs and UDCs that feature high efficiency, high output power, wide bandwidth, and low EVM when transmitting and low Noise Figure (NF) when receiving.
