iCana® Enters Wi-Fi Networking Market
with Family of Front-End Modules for
Wi-Fi® 7 and Wi-Fi® 8 Applications
Taipei, TAIWAN, 10 Sep 2026 –
iCana, a fabless RF component supplier for wireless telecommunications, today announced the debut of its first family of Wi-Fi Front–End Modules (FEMs) for Wi–Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 8 applications, featuring three new FEMs covering 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands.

This launch marks iCana’s formal entry into the Wi-Fi Networking Market, expanding the company’s footprint beyond 5G infrastructure into high-performance Wi-Fi front-end solutions for access points, wireless routers, residential gateways, and customer-premises equipment (CPE).
As global Wi-Fi 7 deployments continue to expand throughout 2026, and Wi-Fi 8 solutions begin to emerge, iCana’s family of linear FEMs is well-positioned for refresh cycles, cost-optimized platforms, and future Wi-Fi 8 releases. As industry consolidation continues to reshape the supplier landscape, iCana provides networking equipment manufacturers with an additional source of high-performance Wi-Fi FEM solutions.
“Our entry into the Wi‑Fi 7 FEM market reflects iCana’s commitment to dependable, power‑efficient RF solutions for broadband and networking equipment vendors.” says Dr. Jachen Hsieh, Chief Executive Officer at iCana. “With these FEMs, customers can extend their Wi‑Fi 7 roadmaps with confidence while preparing for the introduction of Wi-Fi 8.”
iCana’s new family of Wi-Fi FEMs feature high output power (27+ dBm at MCS0) and are compliant with key Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) and Wi-Fi 8 (802.11bn) features, including support for all three worldwide frequency bands, wide bandwidths (40 MHz at 2.4 GHz, 160 MHz at 5 GHz, and 320 MHz at 6 GHz), and high linearity low-EVM performance supporting 4K-QAM.
Each FEM integrates a power amplifier (PA), low‑noise amplifier (LNA), T/R switch, coupler and power detector in a compact, 16‑pin 3×3 mm2 package that is pin compatible within the product family and with competitive alternatives. iCana’s new FEM family includes the following products:
